Highly emissive colloidal nanocrystals of mixed dimensionality

摘要

Single particle measurements on a novel class of materials consisting of spherical CdSe cores surrounded by elongated CdS shells reveal unprecedented photophysical stability due to exceptional extinction coefficients as well as high quantum efficiencies.
