摘要

The dissolution of metals from chalcopyrite (CuFeS_2) is slow,even in highly acidic solutions,and methods which are successful in leaching copper invariably dissolve iron as well.Many workers have shown that the rate of leaching is inhibited by the formation of a thickening product layer,but there is disagreement over its nature and little is know about the electrochemistry involved in its formation.
