There is presently a resurgence of scientific interest in rechargeable metal-air power sources,especially metal hydride-air and zinc-air systems.The principal advantage of these systems is the use of an air (oxygen) diffusion cathode,which results in no cathode capacity limitations.Recently,TA&MU team reported results on rechargeable metal hydride-air systems using bifunctional electrodes as rechargeable air cathodes [1,2].
