摘要

The objective of this work was to investigate the spontaneous transfer of 4-pentadecyl-pyridine(C15-4Py),an insoluble amphiphilic surfactant,from the gas-solution (GS) interface to the metal-solution (MS) interface of a Au(lll) electrode [1-3].A monolayer of C15-4Py was transferred to the Au(lll) electrode using a Langmuir-Schaefer (L-S) technique and the differential capacity of the MS interface was recorded over a prolonged period of time.
