The corrosion behavior of stainless steel in aqueous solutions has been studied extensively,yet comparatively little work has been conducted on the corrosion behavior of stainless steel in non-aqueous organic electrolyte despite its importance to such technology as non-aqueous organic electrolyte battery system.Corrosion of the cell component can adversely affects the electrical performance,capacity life,and/or safety of the battery.
