Estimates of heat kernels on Riemannian manifolds

The purpose of these notes is to give introduction to the subject of heat kernels on non-compact Riemannian manifolds. By definition, the heat kernel for the Euclidean space R~n is the (unique) positive solution of the following Cauchy problem in (0, +∞) * R~n.
