Many modern technologies include PT in elastoplastic materials. Thermomechanical treatment of materials involves consecutively or simultaneously occurring PT and plastic straining, which results in the required microstructure and the physical-mechanical properties. Strain induced TP and transformation induced plasticity (TRIP) are other important examples.
