摘要

A dynamical model of the climate-biosphere system involving a carbon cycle is designed.A qualitative analysis is gien for a model zero-dimensional in space.Three stable states of the biosphere are found: a "cold desert" with no vegetation,a "cold planet" rich in vegetation ,and a "hot planet" with poor vegetation.Their stability properties can change dramatically due to an increase in the total amount of carbon caused,e.g.,by anthropogenic emissions.
