The Use of Amphoteric Surfactants to Utilise Imidazolines in Industrial Detergents

This paper describes the work carried out to utilise imidazolines in industrial detergents for alkaline aqueous degreasing, with rust prevention, and water-shedding properties. The work was carried out in three phases: Phase 1 -The hydrotroping properties of salt-free alkyl iminodipropionates when used with nonionics.
