210Z{sub}L series medium-speed diesel engines

摘要

To broaden the power coverage of L250Z{sub}L series medium-speed diesel engines successfully developed in the 80s, and to fulfil step-by-step substitution for 300 type diesel with a larger volume available presently at home, yet with a lower P{sub}(mc) value, SMDERI commenced developing series 210Z{sub}L medium-speed diesel engines from 1994, and passed smoothly the first engine of model 6210Z{sub}LC-3 on various type tests, including 800hour duration test, in the August of 1998. This engine can serve as a main engine or an auxiliary engine for marine application, as well as a power for other machineries. A summary is given to model 6210Z{sub}L diesel, regarding to its design features, performance test results and further development.
