摘要

Vehicle-borne improvised explosive device threats in urban environments are often devastating in effect, hard to detect, and difficult to thwart or defeat. Political, cultural, social, and physical environments make detecting and defeating this threat complex and challenging. This research explores the feasibility of employing agent based models to provide insights into countering the threat and potential methodologies to establish measures of effectiveness associated with networks and traffic flow. The scope of this work involves urban environments and stability and support operations.
