The influence of hypersonic on phenol sulfoxidation kinetics in the presence of cobalt complexes fixed on polyacrylic acid (PAA) is investigated in the soft conditions (313-333K). Products are p- and o-phenolsulfonic acids. Phenol conversion under the investigated conditions reaches 98-100 %. The ultrasonic sound in the interval from 0 to 60 kHz leads to aggrandizement of trivalent cobalt concentration in a solution, as a result, increasing the reaction activity. The enlargement of ultrasound influence (USI) modulation frequency and the exposure time results in destruction of a binuclear complex, which may be responsible for enhanced catalytic activity.
