A T.E.M. Study of the Microstructure of u Ti_(48)Al_(48)Cr_2Nb_2 Alloy

摘要

The microstructures of as cast and air quenched Ti(48)Al_(48)Cr_2Nb_2 alloys are analysed by transmission electron microscopy. Statistical analyses on the orientation variants and on the orientation relationships at the interfaces are presented. The results are used to have a better understanding on the formation mechanism of the lamellar microstructure.
