The economic development of one country in most emerging economics is dependent upon the ability of the authorities to give priority to the set up of a highly suitable and reliable electricity sector. The main question today is: can the authorities of one developed country not include nuclear power among the electricity strategy of their country? What is the impact of this decision on the economics of the country? We feel that the dislike in respect of nuclear of a large part of public is based on a lack of understanding of this energy, including a quiet evaluation of its real risks and advantages. The main conclusion is that the negative feelings about nuclear energy are largely unfounded and in fact harmful to the future success of Italian economics. The main strategic addressed objectives of this paper are: * Provide organizations with a preliminary evaluation of the impact on Italian economics of new nuclear power plants promoted in Italy or in other EU countries by Italian financing system and having their components mainly manufactured by Italian companies. Discuss on preliminary basis the features of more interesting 3rd generation advanced nuclear plants that could be an option for Italian country; Indicate criteria that could facilitate market and media acceptance of the new nuclear plants promoted by Italy.
