Future Interior Design Solutions for next Generation Cockpit Systems: Flexible and Adaptive User Experience Design Solutions

Future interior design solutions in vehicles are influenced by several factors, e.g. automated driving solutions, e-mobility behavior and connectivity services. The new interior design solution integrates full digital clusters and center stack displays following an increasing demand of the market for large seamless display surfaces. Technical solutions and the integration process of curved AMOLED full HD displays with haptic feedback displays are described based on affordable plastic cover lenses. Applying injection molded IMD / IML 3D cover lens including 3D finger guides enables an enhanced user experience. A holistic approach is considered, specifically for the requirements of the Human Machine Interaction.
