摘要

Automotive manufacturers have developed a variety of countermeasures to optimize the vehicles performance under small overalp frontal crash. Generally, the SOFC test produces high severity pulses and greater vehicle body intrusion than any other existing crash mode. Therefore, the primary focus was to develop a system-level sled test methodology for the optimization of restraints, determining dummy kinematics and find out best head protection way through to analysis of the primary control factors. For this study, a universal sled buck was developed with considered ease of use, adjustability in components installation, and adapt to multiple vehicle platforms sizes.
