摘要

A driver steering override (DSO) strategy deals with the driver's interaction with lane-keeping assistance (LKA) system and adapts the intervention level. To ensure that the LKA system works effectively and can be accepted by the drivers, a methodology of identifying the optimal DSO strategy is proposed. Firstly, subjective and objective evaluation tests using driving simulator are designed and conducted regarding different kinds of DSO strategies. Then the correlations between the subjective and objective evaluations are established. Finally, based on the correlations, the target parameters of DSO strategy are obtained by setting the desired subjective ratings as an optimization goal.
