Prediction of Exhaust Noise for Automobile Exhaust System in Consideration of Vibration Induced Radiation Sound

摘要

Traditionally, the exhaust noise is aimed at to reduce overall level but recently to conduct sound design. However simplification of structure makes it difficult and thus the vibration induced radiation sound from endplate gives attention. This paper describes how to use coupled sound prediction by BEM and FEM and sound quality evaluation on sound metrics.
