Trust of Drivers in Low-speed ACC Systems of Various Automatic Levels

Trust of drivers in driver assist systems is important in the development of the systems. The trust level may be kept at an appropriate degree as drivers do not put too much or lose confidence in the systems. The authors have begun to measure the trust and already obtained the fluctuation. In this paper, we measure the trust in some low-speed ACC systems of various automatic levels and examine the relation between the trust and the automatic level of the low-speed ACC systems. A possibility of too much confidence in the full automatic system is observed.
