Revision of the automatic transmission fluid - anti-shudder performance test - activity report of JASO ATF subcommittee for JASO M349-2001

摘要

Shudder stick slip is a known phenomenon and is related to the frictional coefficient and velocity (dμ/dV). In 1998/1995 JASO established the M349 anti-shudder performance test to evaluate fluid performance. This procedure was based on Stepwise measurement. Recently a new Sweep method has been introduced to map accurately recreates conditions seen in the fluid. A new high precision steel plate with flat surface profile was also introduced to get better reproducibility.
