The injuries caused by the seat belts through the deformation of the seats

A driver and a passenger of a compact car died with abdominal injuries in a head-on collision accident. They are supposed to be pressed by the seat belts because the front parts of the seats deformed downward in the accident. So we tested the strength of the seats of some passenger cars. The test revealed that the seats of the crashed car were obviously weaker than the others.
