In the electro deposition process, a problem of an air pocket is pointed out. A geometric approach to compare a height of adjacent surface mesh has been used to predict the air pocket conventionally. This technique is simple and easy but has a problem of mesh dependence. In order to improve this problem, we developed another geometric approach to compare a height of adjacent node. Some simple geometric models were used for comparison with the conventional method, VOF method and this method. From comparison results, the effectiveness of this method was confirmed.
