Development of HC-SCR Catalysts for Diesel Engine

Performance of the HC-SCR systems are known that have the difference of NO{sub}x conversion by HC composition. For application to a diesel engine using this system, each characteristic of catalysts was investigated. As the result, with the combination of aluminasupported silver catalysts with partial oxidized diesel fuel that has high NO{sub}x reduction performance. With the engine test, high performance of NO{sub}x conversion was checked. Moreover, the influences of the catalyst performance of the sulfur poisoning and fuel component were also investigated.
