Development of a new 3.0L small DI diesel engine

摘要

This paper describes Nissan Diesel's new 4-valve/cylinder 3.OL DI diesel engine, ZD30DDTi.This ZD30DDTi could reduce emissions, fuel consumption, combustion and mechanical noise and vibration by new combustion concept (MK-Fire) and new technology. Nissan Diesel developed this engine in response to heightened needs in recent years for passenger and recreational vehicle with superior thermal efficiency.This engine was already installed to the Nissan TERANO and LEGULUS from the beginning of 1999.
