Study on Dynamic Changes of Landuse Using Remote Sensing in Jiangning County of Nanjing

摘要

According to the China-Germany International Cooperation Project "Landuse and Sustainable Development (SILUP)" of Jiangning county, the dynamic changes of landuse of the county were systematically analyzed using the existing thematic maps and Landsat TM, SPOT data during the periods of 1990-1999. The results showed the area of cultivable land was gradually decreased in recent years with its rapid economic development. The suitable planning and utilization of land are of importance in sustainable development for the area.
