We have reported experimental results of the double encapsulation module (DEM) for a recyclable PV-module using single cell modules. In order to show the feasibility of this concept for practical use, we made 9-cell DEMs and extracted problems from the assembling and disassembling processes. Weather resistance experiments for 9-cell DEM were also made. Furthermore, numbers of different film materials were evaluated optically and electrically using single-cell module to find better candidates for DEMs. We confirmed that successful recovery of PV cells from the 9-cell DEMs are possible.
