Six residential PV systems (maximum electric power of 2.82kW/system) are interconnected to utility grids. Islanding tests of these systems were carried out in two cases that the generating power is nearly equal to the various loads (R,L,C) of the systems and not, by manually disconnecting them to the utility grids. Islanding time were 0.2~5.O seconds owing to the kinds of the loads. The islanding times of the systems were analyzed by measuring the active power flows and the reactive power flows.
