摘要

The torsion arc blade type horizontal axis windmill can be easily manufactured. And there is advantage which is a low price sum compared with the propeller-type windmill in the windmill manufacturing cost. This paper has been examined the output power and the power coefficient by the small actual machine of the torision arc blade type horizontal axis windmill. From those results, the blade width and the solidity that these values become the maximum were obtained. Moreover, the windmill support frame having the dual frame structure (outer frame and inside frame) has been developed for the wind power generation used the large-scale actual machine by the natural wind. The inside frame supporting the windmill is able to rotate automatically to the wind direction by using the Weathercock Principle.
