Improving the power generation performance of the photovoltaic panel by water sprinkling of the panel surface

The performance of the photovoltaic power generation can be improved by cooling the photovoltaic (PV) panel. In this research, in order to cool the PV panel, we sprinkle water on the panel surface. This sprinkling is carried out every ten minutes in the daytime. The electric power generated by the sprinkled panel is compared with that by the non-sprinkled panel. The power generation of the sprinkled panel is 5.5% higher than that of the non-sprinkled panel.
