The energy reduction effect of photovoltaic (PV) / solar thermal collectors (SC) used together as a system, and photovoltaic I thermal hybrid panel (PVT) systems used for several kinds of heating, cooling and hot water supply systems was estimated by an annual simulation analyses. The energy reduction effect of these photovoltaic I thermal combined systems are greater than the photovoltaic or solar thermal systems used separately. Further, the PVT system's energy reduction effect is higher than the SC/PV system's energy reduction effect.
