This paper proposes a fuzzy-timing Petri net method for distributed temperature control to achieve optimum air temperatures inside a car, considering the comfort of each passenger. The optimum HVAC control has been applied to an air conditioningsystem for a car, and a fuzzy controller is used to independently control temperatures at various locations inside a car, considering each passenger's comfort temperature level and air velocity at each seat. We have conducted experiments and confirmedthat our method is useful for distributed temperature control in a car.
