Skin-pass rolling (or temper rolling) is the final forming step in the production of cold rolled steel sheet. The process has quite different parameter settings than conventional sheet rolling especially due to large roll radius compared to the contact length. However, many research activities were experimentally conducted with small radius rolls. Hence, the effects of work roll radius on the characteristics of material deformation in skin-pass rolling were investigated.
