The detection- of antenna manufacturing errors from the analysis of the extremely near-field (NF) close to the antenna-under-test (AUT) supposes a powerful non-invasive technique: In the last years, several algorithms for antenna diagnostics have been proposed: some of them are based on wave expansion techniques [1], while others make use of an equivalent currents distribution placed on a surface enclosing the AUT [2].
