摘要

The problem of retrieving amplitudes and phases of array antenna elements in all their states from measured amplitudes of the transmission coefficient between the array and a probe antenna is addressed. A measurement and data-processing procedure that retrieves phases of the transmission coefficients from their measured amplitudes is proposed. The problem of finding contributions of individual elements from the amplitude measurements is thereby reduced to reconstruction from the amplitudes and phases. Mathematical simulations show that this method provides a significantly lower reconstruction error than the known approach.
