Biomonitoring in nothern bohemia mining area, czech pepublic

摘要

The paper summarises the main environmental problems identified in the Northern Bohemia region. The region is characterised by a high concentration of chemical industry and brown coal strip mines. The environment of the region is badly effected by a combination of unfavourable geographical factors and very high level of atmospheric pollution. There are signs of negative effects even on human health.
