On the kinetics of the linear growth rate data of syndiotactic polypropylene:determination of the equilibrium melting temperature using the data-fitting procedure

A series of publications by Marand and his group [1-4] have suggested that accountability of the Lauritzen and Hoffman (LH) secondary nucleation theory [5,6] in describing the temperature dependence of isothermal growth rate data of polymers exists only when the equilibrium melting temperature T_m~o of the polymer of interst can be determined accurately.
