There are many problems for electronic devices andparts which were caused electrostatic damage by static electricity.It is necessary for prevention of electrostatic charge to decreasesurface resistivity of material using electroconductive coating.Mitsui Mining & Smelting Co., Ltd. Developed metal oxide typeelectroconductive pigment PASSTRAN (trade mark) Type -IVwhich is barium sulfate coated with SnO_2 (Sb) thinelectroconductive layer. This paper shows about pigmentcharacteristics and film condition of antistatic transparency paintwhich contained PASSTRAN.
