摘要

A quantitative model of the initiation of reheat cracking in austenitic stainless steel weldments is presented and applied to a wide range of plant geometries. The key feature of the model which permits the prediction of reheat cracking is thesensitivity of the creep ductility to the state of triaxial stress (constraint).
