摘要

In the above discussion we formulated the semiempirical approach to the statistical description of jump-like growth of a two-dimensional crack. For the sake of simplicity we limited ourselves to the minimum number of statistical degrees of freedom and ignored the stress relaxation processes. Apparently, the models considered are oversimplified to describe adequately the growth of real crack. However, certain of the above results were found to be in a qualitative agreement with the experimentally observed regularities. It is important that certain generalizations which do not change radically the suggested procedure are possible. In particular, we can introduce additional statistical variables characterising the state and even the evolution of a precracked zone.
