The investigation of the dynamics of ring solitary waves (RSWs) for ring radius out of the equilibrium value is made. Two different cases are viewed: bright RSWs and dark RSWs. For the first case a strong dependence of the ring dynamics on the presence of optical vortex in the beam center is observed. The existence of the MI leads to formation of soliton peaks. In the second case much weaker dynamics is observed. However the MI of the background breaks the possibility of detail investigation of the dynamics.
