A Two-Way Nitinol Torsion Bar and Its Easy Training-Remember Behaviour

摘要

In this paper, the behaviour of a two-way shape memory NiTinol bar is reported by means of loading cycles and thermal cycles. An easy training-remember character is observed. Difference between thermal induced pahse transformation and stress induced detwinning, and kink phenomenon are also addressed.
