The nonstoichiometric Ni_2MnGa which has a Hesuler type crystal structure were made by are melt method. The martensite and austenite transformation temperatures, Ms, Mf, As, and Af, whic were measurd by the differential scanning calorimeter increased with increase of Ni coposiiton. From the temperature dependence of the initial magnetic permeabilty which was measured by the magnetometer, the phase transformation temperautre at which crsytal structure changed and Curure temperature were determined. The phase transformation teperature increased and Curie temperature decreased with increase of Ni coposition.
