摘要

A new type SMA with higher theraml stability, Cu-11.9 Al-2.5Mn-0.3Zr, is reported. Comparied with traditional Cu-base SMA, the thermoelastic reversion temeprature of as-quenched martensite of the alloy can raach as high as 400 degC and SME can be obtained in the alloy as well. X-ray diffraction experiment indentified that the martensite structure of the alloy is near N18R and "nnn" atoms are highly ordered. This structure of the martensite possesses higher stability. it does not change almost and no M18R-N18R transfromation takes place i nthe artensite aging before reversion during heating. So, the matrtensite stabilization does not easily take place.
