In this paper we suggest an approach to model the condition monitoring information of three raw pumps at Coca Cola and Schweppes beverages in Wakefield. The purpose of the model is to predict the distribution of the residual lifetimes of the individual pumps. In turn, this information aids the manager in making decisions about maintenance actions, principally relating to overhaul and standby. We finish the paper with a simple rule to decide whether a maintenance action is likely to improve the reliability or not.
