Pultruded profiles manufactured today are recognized to be cost effective engineered products which offer unparalleled performance and economics in many applications. However, the market often dictates the competitive price level necessary for acceptance of a new application when competing against low cost traditional materials. Processing methods and manufacturing efficiency play a large role in determining selling price and realizing a suitable profit level since production costs are distributed over manufacturing output. It is imperative, therefore, to move productivity to the highest possible level while ensuring consistent quality of the product produced.
