Overall the evolution of solution application has followed a similar pattern as agriculture irrigation. It has developed from wild flooding which is just getting the solutions out to the heap, to a very specific type of micro irrigation with computer models and monitoring. In the near future we will probably see more automation systems that will control solution application and recovery to meet specific precious metal budgets that will be determined well in advance.
