In-Situ Monitoring Analysis of Stability of a Road Tunnel

Geological condition of No.1 road tunnel, especially the attitudes of important faults and joints are firstly described. Based on the in-situ measurements, relevant analyses of relative convergence of wallrock, crown settlement, axial stress of bolt, realtive displacement of rockmass, tensile force of bolt and mechanical parameters of strata are performed separately. Conclusions show that in-situ measuring of No.1 tunnel is generally successful, and can provide useful experiences for excavation and lining of 2-lane road tunnel.
