摘要

The growth, taxol biosynthesis and secretion of T. Cuspidata cell suspension culture were studied by addition of rare earth La and Ce compounds. The results showed that the growth pattern of T. cuspidata cell suspension culture was altered obviously by the addition of the rare earth compounds in the media; also, the lag and exponential phases of the cell growth shortened and the stationary phase almost disappeared. The biomass oscillated periodically. Meanwhile the addition of the rare earth compounds ovbiously enhanced the taxol biosynthesis and release of Taxus cuspidata cell suspension culture, and also enhanced the taxol biosynthesis with the addition of carbon source.
