PROCESSING OF A PARTICULATE METAL MATERIX COMPOSITES BY ROLL BONDING METHOD

摘要

The manufacture of an aluminium aluminacomposite sheet from anodising of aluminium foils and foilbonding method are described. The process can be automatedfor continuous production of PMMC in sheet form. Themicrostructures of the materials are examined. Cracksintroduced in the materials from the breaking up of oxide isone of the main cause of porosity in the rolled materials. Theporosity in the hot rolled material can be reduced by further cold rolling.
