INAMAPLA II: AN INTERACTIVE MODEL-BASED SYSTEM FOR MANPOWER PLANNING AND DECISION SUPPORT

INAMAPLA II is an essentially model-based decision - support system. Two general types of manpower planning dynamic models are incorporated into the model base : the flow model and the fractional-flow model of manpower systems. The structure of the models is generated in accordance with the manpower system goals. Intelligently combining the basic problems built in the model base not only well defined plans for a desired evolution of the manpower system can be developed but also answers to even more complex queries arising in the manpower management process can be given in an interaction with INAMAPLA II.
